Part of Marvel Legacy's "The Newer Mutants" arc, this fifth chapter puts Cable front and center in a brutal, blood-spattered close-quarters struggle against a green-eyed, cybernetically-altered opponent — both figures battered and locked in a grip that suggests neither is ready to yield an inch. Jon Malin's cover linework captures the raw physicality of the clash with striking intensity, rendered vividly through Jesus Aburtov and Federico Blee's colors. Ed Brisson's run on Cable has been delivering serious edge, and this issue looks like a worthy escalation of that momentum.
