Cable #153

Part of Marvel Legacy's "The Newer Mutants" arc, Cable #153 brings together a striking ensemble on Jon Malin's cover: Cable himself stands at the center, gun in hand and bionic eye glowing, surrounded by a diverse crew of mutants — including a clawed fighter in the foreground, a fiery-fisted figure in an X-Men uniform, a pink-skinned warrior, a sword-wielding blonde, and a small green creature sporting an X emblem — all reacting urgently to the massive, fang-lined alien creature looming behind them. The sense of barely-contained chaos is palpable, with crimson tendrils framing the group from every direction. Ed Brisson's script and Malin's kinetic linework, colored by Jesus Aburtov, make this one of the more visually arresting entries in this run.
