A gripping low-angle composition by Igor Kordey dominates this 2002 Marvel issue, showing a wild-haired, scarred figure in a heavy fur-trimmed orange coat thrusting both gloved hands skyward in an anguished or desperate gesture. The dramatic upward perspective and stark burst of light radiating behind the figure give the cover an almost spiritual intensity that's hard to shake. With David Tischman and Kordey steering the series, Cable #104 promises the kind of raw, emotionally charged storytelling this creative team does so well.
