Cable #10, titled "The Killing Field Part II: Like Lambs to the Slaughter," sees the mutant mercenary teaming up with the Acolytes for a high-stakes mission against Omega Red. As their pursuit leads them to Magneto’s abandoned base, they’re met with a dangerous surprise—some of the Acolytes have been waiting for them all along. Written by Fabian Nicieza and Glenn Herdling, with art by M. C. Wyman and inks by Kevin Conrad and Al Milgrom, the issue’s cover by Wyman and Conrad captures the tension perfectly.
