A charming slice of postwar teen life, this November/December 1951 issue of DC's Buzzy — "America's Favorite Teen-Ager!" — features our grinning, blond hero sharing a red bicycle with a girl who's playfully asking, "Don't you think it's about time I started to ride alone, Buzzy?" The cover's breezy humor and easy charm capture exactly the lighthearted tone that made this series a staple of early '50s comics.
