The finale of this three-issue Goon spin-off arrives with a cover that means business: Buzzard himself looms front and center, pale-faced and hollow-eyed beneath a wide black hat, both revolvers raised and ready, with a pair of enormous, unsettling eyes hovering in the smoky background behind him. Eric Powell's cover art captures the character's eerie, undead gunfighter energy with real atmosphere and grim confidence. This issue also features a backup story — Billy the Kid's Old Timey Oddities — by Powell and Hotz, making it a satisfying double dose of Dark Horse strangeness to close out the run.
