When the family attorney warns them of the legendary Headless Horror said to haunt the estate, the tension turns deadly as strange noises and unexplained deaths begin to unfold.
In "Midas Castle," former criminal "Midas" Malone escapes prison with the help of impostor cops, then sets out to build a criminal empire fueled by greed and chaos. The Bullet Duo must stop him before his web of crime spreads too far—before the whole city becomes his golden playground.
In "The Man Who Vanished," the Bullet Duo intercept a suspicious train carrying coffins in its baggage car, just as the notorious Big Grando—finally captured after a decade on the run—vanishes mid-transfer. With the criminal's cryptic vow still echoing, the duo must unravel the mystery before he escapes justice once more.
In "The Gorgon's Head!" from Bulletman #4 (1942), the Bullet Duo races to stop a mysterious Medusa-like villain who's targeting ancient Egyptian artifacts at a local museum. With priceless relics at stake and the thief's powers shrouded in myth, the heroes must outwit a foe whose legend may be more than just a story.
