When the Octopus captures Jim Barr, the mild-mannered detective transforms into Bulletman to fight back, but the criminal mastermind proves slippery, and Susan Kent won't sit on the sidelines while her partner hunts alone. A web of crime, double-crosses, and a very real octopus stand in their way.
When millionaire banker Henry Roberts is found murdered at his bank, Bulletman jumps on the case—only to discover a mysterious hunchbacked figure is several steps ahead, leaving dead cops and a cryptic threat in his wake. As Jim Barr pieces together clues about a suspect named Miller, the hunched killer strikes again, and Bulletman realizes the villain knows his secret identity and has kidnapped Bulletgirl. Now Bulletman must race to Hawkmoor to confront the mysterious murderer before it's too late.
When a mysterious newspaper ad promises a perilous voyage to an island from which no traveler has ever returned, it catches the attention of the Police, Jo, and Jim—each drawn by their own reasons. The promise of adventure and danger sets them on a course no one has survived, leaving only questions in their wake.
