Bulletman #10

Soaring high above a glittering cityscape, Bulletman and Bulletgirl streak through the sky in their matching red-and-yellow costumes and bullet-shaped helmets — and they've brought a very enthusiastic spotted dog along for the ride. The cover for this 1942 Fawcett issue, drawn and inked by Jack Binder, announces the arrival of Bulletdog, the self-proclaimed "Sensational Canine Cop," giving the Flying Detective's crime-fighting team a delightfully unexpected new member. Whether the trio's aerial adventure ties into the interior tale of "The Weeper" or not, this cover alone makes a convincing case that the skies over the city just got a lot more interesting.
