Buffy the Vampire Slayer #6

The whole Scooby Gang assembles on this Arthur Adams and Joyce Chin cover for issue #6, with Buffy front and center clutching what appears to be a mystical orb, flanked by Angel, Xander, Willow, Oz, Giles (stake in hand), and Cordelia posed against an ivy-covered stone backdrop. It's a confident, character-rich portrait that captures the ensemble energy of the series beautifully. With "New Kid on the Block Part 1" kicking off a new story from writers Andi Watson and Dan Brereton with interior art by Hector Gómez, this 1999 Dark Horse issue is a fine entry point for fans of the Slayer and her circle.
