Bloodshot #48

Issue #48 of Valiant's Bloodshot brings "Badblood Part Two" to a fever pitch, with cover art by Rags Morales depicting an intense three-way collision: the pale, red-circled Bloodshot grappling with a massive, snarling green-skinned brute while a dark-haired woman crouches amid the wreckage of a trashed office, gun in hand and shock written across her face. The destruction around them — splintered furniture, bullet-riddled walls, a katana in the mix — suggests neither combatant is pulling punches. With Abnett, Lanning, and Moretti sharing writing duties alongside artist Grey and inker Mike Witherby, this 1996 Acclaim/Valiant chapter looks like one of the series' more chaotically entertaining showdowns.
