Cover artist Sean Chen and inker Tom Ryder pack this June 1996 Valiant issue with kinetic energy — Bloodshot dominates the foreground, draped in ammunition belts and firing a glowing energy weapon, while two dark-suited women with needle-studded hair scramble through a hail of spent casings above him. The story is cheekily titled "Double, Double-Cross and Rubble," which the explosive green-burst composition backs up perfectly. With Boone, Vancata, and Yoakum handling the interior art, this late run on Bloodshot delivers the Acclaim-era intensity the series was known for.
