A wild supernatural threat takes center stage in this May 1962 DC adventure, as the Blackhawk team scrambles in alarm while enormous winged spears — magically transformed and alive with fiery plumage — streak toward them from every direction. A mysterious turbaned figure in the foreground raises a hand, apparently the source of the sorcery promised by the cover's title, "The Princeling Sorcerer!" Dick Dillin's pencils and Charles Cuidera's inks give the scene real kinetic energy, pitting the blue-uniformed Blackhawks against a threat that's equal parts spectacle and menace.
