Black Terror #4
This fourth issue from Dynamite's 2020 series delivers one of the more quietly unsettling covers of the run: Black Terror's glowing-eyed face rises just above the surface of a blood-red pool, his reflection below transformed into an eerie, luminous skull-and-crossbones symbol. Rahzzah's painted cover work plays beautifully with duality — the hero above, something darker mirrored beneath — setting a tone that feels equal parts superhero and supernatural horror. With Max Bemis writing and Ruairí Coleman on art, this chapter titled "Trippin'" promises the series continues pushing its pulp-golden-age hero into genuinely strange territory.
