This Dynamite Entertainment volume brings the Golden Age avenger Black Terror into brooding, atmospheric territory, with a cover by Francesco Francavilla that says everything you need to know about the tone. The hero's silhouette — skull-and-crossbones emblem glowing on his chest, red cape billowing dramatically — stands atop a surface whose shadow stretches into an enormous skull-and-crossbones below, a haunting visual metaphor rendered in deep teals and smoky greens.
