Black Panther #32
Black Panther and Storm stand shoulder-to-shoulder at the center of this striking 2008 cover, backed by the raw power of the Thing and a blazing Human Torch — all four surrounded by a ring of green-skinned, fedora-wearing gunmen closing in from every direction. It's a tense, outnumbered setup that makes "Gangsta Lean Part 2 of 6" feel like it hits the ground running. Cover pencils and inks by Billy Tan, with interior work from Reginald Hudlin, Francis Portela, and Andrea DiVito rounding out a solid creative team.

The Black Panther and company find themselves on a world where Skrulls dress up and act like 1930's American gangsters. The Thing has been here before and it didn't go too well so the Skrulls aren't exactly happy to see him. The Panther, Human Torch and Thing are captured while Storm flies off to try and find some help.
