Black Lightning #2

The cover by Rich Buckler and Frank Springer crackles with kinetic energy — Black Lightning, suit blazing with yellow lightning bolts and fists charged with electricity, hurls himself through a shower of shattered glass straight at an archer below, daring him with "Go ahead and shoot, killer — it'll be the last move you'll ever make!" With a story titled "Merlyn Means Murder," this 1977 DC series was clearly wasting no time throwing its electrifying hero into serious danger. Tony Isabella and Trevor Von Eeden deliver a second issue that the cover promises will be every bit as charged as the first.
