Black Hammer Reborn #7

There's something quietly wonderful about this cover by Caitlin Yarsky — a silver robot sits in a rocking chair, reading a book titled Goodnight Spoon aloud to a large brain suspended in a glowing display case, as if tucking it in for the night. It's the kind of offbeat, warmly absurdist image that the Black Hammer universe does so well, blending science fiction strangeness with genuine tenderness. Jeff Lemire, Malachi Ward, Matthew Sheean, and Nate Piekos continue "The Case of the Electric Boy" in this seventh issue of Black Hammer Reborn, and if the cover is any indication, the story has plenty of heart beneath its weird exterior.
