Black Fury #49
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeBlack Fury, a legendary wild stallion, encounters an Englishman who wounds him with rifle fire, leading the enraged grizzly to charge at the man. Meanwhile, a coach carrying gold is being transported from Preston City to Sydney, with driver Dave Farr suspicious of the unusual setup despite assurances from Sid Hogan and his men that they can handle any trouble. When road agents attack the coach, Hogan's group successfully repels them and brings the prisoner to Sheriff Judson, who recognizes the wanted outlaw Sid Hogan and agrees to make him a partner in the freight line. In a separate sequence, an Englishman courageously shoots at a charging grizzly bear but fails to stop it, though Black Fury witnesses the confrontation and, deeming it too unusual a contest between natural enemies, decides not to interfere with the man's fate.
