About this Collection

This 2016 collection from DC gathers the complete Bizarro series, a comedic take on the classic Superman villain. The story follows Bizarro as he attempts to navigate life in Metropolis with his backward logic, leading to chaotic and humorous encounters. Written by Heath Corson with art by Gustavo Duarte, the volume collects issues #1–6 of the 2015 miniseries.

In "America: Part 6" of Bizarro (2016), written by Heath Corson and illustrated by Gustavo Duarte, Kelley Jones, and Francis Manapul, Bizarro confronts King Tut’s growing influence over Smallville. With help from Colin, Jimmy, and Regina, the trio works to break the spell—culminating in a surreal twist where Bizarro uses super-hypnosis to trick King Tut into believing he’s a chicken. The story’s cover, by Gustavo Duarte, captures the absurdity and tension of the moment, while the dynamic art and layered inking bring the chaotic journey to life.

In "America: Part 6," Jimmy and Bizarro hit the road toward Bizarro America—Canada—only to crash and end up at a quirky used car lot in Smallville. The lot’s eccentric owner, "King Tut," has bigger plans than selling cars: after a strange turn of events, he calls upon the ancient gods of Egypt, who grant him a staff that lets him compel people into buying vehicles.

In "America: Part 5," Bizarro takes on King Tut’s hypnotic hold over Smallville, using his own brand of super-hypnosis to turn the pharaoh into a chicken—only for Jimmy and Regina to reclaim their senses and shatter the spell. With the staff broken and the town restored, Regina, now running the car lot, gifts Bizarro and Jimmy a convertible to keep their journey going. But as they drive on, she quietly repairs the staff, her eyes set on revenge for her father. The duo presses forward, encountering a string of heroes and villains, until they reach a forgotten ghost town and meet the descendant of Jonah Hex.

When the ghost of El Papagayo arrives demanding tribute, Bizarro’s attempt to intervene backfires—leaving him possessed. With his signal watch missing and the Riddler’s trickery in play, Jimmy must think fast, turning to an old bugle that summons a spectral cavalry of Western legends, including Jonah Hex, who finally faces the ghostly threat—and his own descendant.
