- First issue published under the 'Bizarre Adventures' title, continuing the numbering of the predecessor series Marvel Preview (which ran through #24).
- Themed 'Lethal Ladies,' the issue presented three separate black-and-white stories, each headlined by a different female Marvel character or team: Black Widow, Lady Daemon, and the Daughters of the Dragon (Misty Knight and Colleen Wing).
- First appearance of Lady Daemon (Megan Daemon), a British sorceress and occult practitioner of the 1930s, created by writer Chris Claremont and artist Michael Golden with inks by Terry Austin; her story is set partly aboard the Hindenburg.
- The Black Widow story ('I Got the Yo-Yo, You Got the String') was written by Ralph Macchio with art by Paul Gulacy, who also provided the cover; a supporting character named Langely is drawn to resemble Humphrey Bogart.
- The Daughters of the Dragon story ('Safe Streets'), written by Chris Claremont with art by Marshall Rogers and Bob McLeod, was reprinted in Daughters of the Dragon: Deadly Hands Special #1 (2006) and is also collected in the Deadly Hands of Kung Fu Omnibus Vol. 2 (2017) and the Iron Fist: Deadly Hands of Kung Fu – The Complete Collection (2019).
- The Black Widow story has been reprinted in The Black Widow Strikes Omnibus (2019) and Black Widow Epic Collection #2: The Coldest War (2020).
- The cover and design of the front and inside-front covers were intentionally styled to evoke the look of the female-centric TV spy series Charlie's Angels.
- Lady Daemon received a full entry in the Marvel Legacy: The 1980s Handbook, and despite her single story appearance, has been tracked across several handbooks — underscoring her status as a cult curiosity within Marvel's supernatural roster.
