Bitter Root #14 brings the Sangerye family saga to a fever pitch in "Legacy: Part Four," with Sanford Greene's cover pulling together a striking ensemble of characters mid-struggle. A bearded man at the center grips a glowing, cylindrical device while a woman with locs reaches toward him urgently, the two flanked by a vivid cast — including a woman with a striking afro, a horned figure, a mechanically augmented warrior, and a rushing creature of orange and red — all rendered with the kinetic energy and rich color work Greene and Sofie Dodgson deliver so well.
