Set in a magical version of 1920s Harlem, Bitter Root follows the Sangerye family, a once-great clan of monster hunters who battle creatures born from hatred. As the family struggles with internal discord and a devastating new threat, the series explores themes of racism, healing, and legacy against a backdrop of jazz-age art and action.
