Birds of Prey: Manhunt #2

Part two of four in this four-issue 1996 miniseries brings the action to a fever pitch, with Black Canary leaping into a close-quarters firefight while armed suits open fire just below her — bullets sparking dramatically at center stage. The Huntress charges in from the left, cape flowing, as Catwoman watches coolly from an elevated position in the background, making this a genuine team effort across the whole cover, rendered with kinetic energy by penciler Gary Frank and inker John Dell. Dixon, Haley, Von Grawbadger, and Lowe keep the creative engine humming inside, making Manhunt a satisfying showcase for DC's most capable women in action.
