Birds of Prey #21

Part of DC's New 52 initiative, Birds of Prey #21 brings Christy Marx's run to a kinetic high point with a cover by Romano Molenaar (inked by Vicente Cifuentes) that plunges three figures headlong through a pink-hazed cityscape. Batgirl swings in from the left, Black Canary unleashes what looks like a sonic cry from the right, and a clawed, armored figure — Talon — dominates the center, all three tumbling through debris above the rooftops in a breathtaking downward rush. With a story titled "Talon vs. Talon," this 2013 issue promises the kind of sharp, team-driven action that makes Birds of Prey such a satisfying read.
