Birds of Prey #20

Part of DC's New 52 line, Birds of Prey #20 delivers a chilly threat front and center — a armored, dark-haired figure wielding a massive cryo-weapon dominates the cover as swirling waves of ice erupt behind her. Batgirl swoops in from the right while Black Canary braces herself in the lower left, both looking like they've just stepped into something very cold and very dangerous. Romano Molenaar's pencils (inked by Vicente Cifuentes) give the whole scene a kinetic energy that makes "Cold as Ice!" feel like more than just a tagline.
