Three members of the Birds of Prey burst from the page in this December 2011 installment of "War and Remembrance Part Two" — a red-suited, masked heroine, Black Canary in her signature dark tactical gear, and a blonde operative in a military-style cap wielding twin pistols, all surrounded by figures in chaos behind them. Billy Tucci's cover pencils and inks crackle with kinetic energy, staging the trio mid-action against a dynamic starburst composition that pulls the eye straight into the fray. Marc Andreyko's run on the series is in full swing here, and this issue makes a visually compelling case for the team's fierce, no-nonsense chemistry.
