# Billy the Kid #20 Billy the Kid tangles with criminals who have hidden stolen gold by melting it down and painting over picture frames, then locking them in a railroad car. After Billy is shot and wounded during a gunfight with the gang, the local sheriff takes over the investigation. Meanwhile, Billy recovers and the law closes in on the criminals. In a separate sequence, Billy assists Native Americans in confronting the outlaw Yellow Coyote, who has been terrorizing a tribe; Yellow Coyote and his men launch an attack on a fort as Billy and his allies prepare to defend against them.
