Billy the Kid #16

Billy the Kid encounters bounty hunters at the Dodge Bank and engages them in a gunfight, emerging victorious and earning praise from the local sheriff. Later, Billy learns that a man named Jess has been troubled by memories of violence and hardship from his past, and his sick wife urges him to leave town and find peace. When Jess's wife dies before dawn, Jess is seen walking into the desert, prompting Billy and the sheriff to offer him comfort and a chance to recover from his grief away from town.
