Bill & Ted's Excellent Comic Book #11

The most excellent comic book adventure continues with issue #11, and this cover makes quite the statement: Bill, Ted, and Abraham Lincoln are crammed together inside a red sniper's crosshair, all rendered over the face of a five-dollar bill — a wonderfully absurd visual that promises some serious presidential peril. Evan Dorkin's cover art captures the trio looking decidedly wide-eyed and worried, with Lincoln himself front and center in what the story title "Lincoln Immemorial" suggests will be anything but a routine history lesson. Marvel's 1992 series remains a genuine treat for fans who appreciate sharp comedic sensibility wrapped in inventive, anything-goes storytelling.
