Bill & Ted's Excellent Comic Book #10

The cover of this September 1992 Marvel issue says it all — "Holy Moley!! It's Bill & Ted's Excellent Comic Book!" — as Bill and Ted themselves grin in the foreground, gleefully reading a comic while an absolutely chaotic swarm of costumed characters, robots, and wild-eyed figures erupts behind them in every direction. Evan Dorkin both wrote and drew this issue (inking his own cover too), and the densely packed, kinetic artwork perfectly captures the franchise's gleeful anything-goes energy. With the story titled "Don't Believe The Hype," this tenth installment promises the kind of irreverent, off-the-walls fun that made this series a worthy companion to the films.
