Big Trouble in Little China #19

This issue of BOOM! Studios' ongoing Big Trouble in Little China series finds Jack Burton clinging to a dangling ladder high above the San Francisco skyline, pistol in hand, as a menacing figure with glowing claws looms up from the rooftops below — all under a pale full moon with a helicopter cutting through the night sky above. Joe Eisma's cover composition does a great job of turning the city itself into a vertical battleground, full of tension and atmosphere. With Fred Van Lente writing and Dan McDaid on art, this series continues to capture the wild spirit of John Carpenter's beloved film.
