"Beware" #3 is an anthology horror comic containing at least two stories. "The Faces of Death" follows artist Elliot Niles, who claims his sketches for a horror illustration were compelled by supernatural forces—he insists the grotesque faces of the dead drew themselves through his hand as if possessed. The other visible story involves a man named Lito who searches cemeteries for the grave of Josiah Bailey, a wealthy man rumored to have hoarded his fortune; after discovering Bailey's casket and attempting to excavate it, Lito fashions a puppet from the casket wood, which becomes animated and compels him to return to the grave at night.
