“Summer Blues”

In "Summer Blues," Betty and Veronica take on the role of camp counselors in a playful twist on their usual rivalry, teaming up when Archie sidelines them to partner with Jughead in a fishing derby. With no fishing experience but plenty of determination, the girls set out to prove themselves—only to end up catching more than they bargained for. Written by Mike Pellowski and brought to life with Dan DeCarlo’s signature style—pencils and inks by DeCarlo, with Mike Esposito on inks—this 1990 issue captures the charm and humor of the classic Archie universe, all on a 1.00 USD cover.
