Even with a popcorn machine and a dartboard at hand in "Ronnie's Game Room," Veronica looks thoroughly unstimulated — chin in hand, staring into the middle distance — while a cheerful Betty leans in and declares, "I hate it when there's nothing to do!" Cover pencils by Jeff Shultz and inks by Henry Scarpelli give the scene a bright, warm energy that perfectly captures the girls' very different approaches to boredom. This 2001 Archie Comics entry is a charming slice of the lighthearted friendship at the heart of the series.
