Betty and Veronica #118
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis December 1997 issue of Betty and Veronica serves up a perfectly timed Halloween costume catastrophe, with Betty wrapped head-to-toe in bandages as a fully committed mummy while Veronica has, shall we say, interpreted the concept rather more loosely — sporting barely enough wrappings to qualify. Archie, Jughead dressed as a gentleman, Reggie in a caveman outfit, and a jester-costumed Moose round out the party crowd, all reacting with delightful alarm to the mismatch. Cover pencils by Dan DeCarlo and inks by Alison Flood make the whole chaotic scene feel warm and genuinely funny — a charming snapshot of Riverdale humor at its most spirited.
