Betty and Me #60
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeArchie has gone to some extreme lengths to keep the competition away from Betty on the beach — the cover by Dan DeCarlo shows the freckled redhead kneeling defiantly in a quicksand pit surrounded by barbed wire, "Keep Out" and "Danger Quicksand" signs, and a baseball bat, while a relaxed Betty lounges beside him in her bikini as a handful of admiring guys look on with amusement. Up top, a small vignette hints at romantic rivalry with a couple sharing a kiss beneath floating hearts. It's a wonderfully absurd slice of Riverdale summer humor, perfectly capturing the lighthearted tone that made the Betty and Me series such a fun corner of Archie's 1974 lineup.
