Was verbindet Guts mit Femuth? In einer Flashback Sequenz erinnert sich Guts an eine Zeit wo er und Griffith gemeinsam auf dem Schlachtfeld standen. Doch im hier und jetzt ist er mittlerweile kaum mehr in der Lage sich zu wehren, und Der Graf hat nun noch die Möglichkeit erneut zurückzukehren, aber nur wenn er seine Tochter Theresia opfert, so wie er es einst mit seiner Frau getan hat. Doch diesmal kann er es nicht und so stirbt er endgültig und seine Seele wird in die Hölle gezogen. Und Guts, Puck und Theresia kehren in die Welt der lebenden zurück während die God Hand verschwinden.
