Batwoman #32

Part of DC's New 52 initiative, Batwoman #32 arrives in August 2014 with a striking cover by Rafael Albuquerque that sets a tense, atmospheric tone. Batwoman herself surges forward in her red-and-black costume, cape billowing dramatically, while an enormous vampiric figure — red-eyed, fanged, and menacing — looms in the blue-washed background behind her. The story arc teaser "Nocturnal Species" hints at a supernatural threat, and with Marc Andreyko writing and Jeremy Haun on interior art, this chapter of "Deadly Is the Night" looks to deliver some genuinely unsettling dark-heroics.
