Batwoman soars into her own New 52 solo series with this striking #1, written by J. H. Williams III and W. Haden Blackman, with interior art by Williams as well. The cover by J. H. Williams III is immediately arresting — Batwoman herself lunges forward in her red-and-black costume against a blazing crimson backdrop, while below her a ghostly skull with glowing eyes looms large, flanked by skeletal fish drifting through an eerie, watery haze.
