Batman: Venom #[nn]

This 1993 collection reprints the classic storyline from Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight #16-20, in which Batman battles his own addiction after using the performance-enhancing drug Venom to save a child. The story, written by Dennis O'Neil with art by Trevor Von Eeden and Russell Braun, explores the Dark Knight's physical and psychological limits as he confronts both a new villain and his own dependency. It's a gritty, character-driven tale that later inspired elements of the Batman mythos, including Bane's origin.
