The Batman of Earth -52 finds himself not being fast enough to stop all crime, so he steals the speed of the Earth -52 Flash. With his new speed, he adopts a new costume and becomes Batman the Red Death. After putting a permanent end to Gotham's villains, he finds that his world is facing doom. An agent of Barbatos convinces him to travel to Earth 0 to help Barbatos take over that world, which leads to a confrontation with The Flash.
