Batman stands defiant at the center of this striking New 52 cover, flanked by a unsettling cast of villains — a masked, corseted White Rabbit figure behind him, two hulking grotesque brutes looming to his right, and a smaller, bow-tied creature crouching nearby. The tagline "Trapped in Wonderland!" sets a wonderfully ominous tone for "The Madness," with David Finch's pencils and Richard Friend's inks giving the whole scene a moody, high-tension energy. A great-looking issue from the New 52 era of DC's Dark Knight series.
