The second chapter of this DC/IDW crossover event brings Batman and all four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles together across a rain-slicked Gotham rooftop, with Raphael looming large in the foreground, sai drawn, while Donatello, Leonardo, and Michelangelo fan out behind him — and the Dark Knight towers above them all against a full moon sky. Freddie E. Williams II's cover art captures both the gritty weight of Batman's world and the kinetic energy the Turtles bring with them, making for a genuinely striking collision of two very different but equally compelling universes. With James Tynion IV scripting and Jeremy Colwell's colors tying it all together, this 2016 co-publication between DC and IDW continues to look like one of the more inspired team-up concepts in recent memory.
