“Siege”

In "Siege," Clark Kent finds himself isolated and vulnerable in the Bahamas, stripped of his powers after using his solar flare to destroy a deadly cloud of Doomsday mist—just as a mind-controlled Killer Croc, Bane, Cheshire, and the Man-Bats close in to finish him. Written by Greg Pak and illustrated by Tom Derenick, Tyler Kirkham, Ian Churchill, Ardian Syaf, and Emanuela Lupacchino, with inks by Vicente Cifuentes, Kirkham, Mark Morales, Jaime Mendoza, and Ray McCarthy, and colors by Arif Prianto, Fahriza Kamaputra, Jessica Kholinne, and Gloria Caeli, this 2015 Annual delivers a tense, high-stakes showdown. The cover by Ardian Syaf and Jonathan Glapion captures the moment of impending danger with chilling precision.

The Phantom King uses his mind control powers to send Killer Croc, Bane, Cheshire, and the Man-Bats to kill Clark Kent, who is on assignment in the Bahamas. Complicating things is the fact that due to using his solar flare power to incinerate a dangerous cloud of Doomsday mist, Clark is left powerless for 24 hours while the killers come after him.
