A battered Batman charges forward alongside a determined young woman, both framed against a glowing Superman insignia filled with portrait panels of multiple characters — including Superman himself and Lex Luthor — some of those panels unsettlingly stained with blood. The New 52 creative team of Greg Pak, Ardian Syaf, and Jonathan Glapion deliver a cover bristling with urgency and a sense that many lives hang in the balance in this March 2015 issue. "Sacrifice" promises exactly the kind of high-stakes tension the title does best.
