Batman Sonderband #6
Batman Sonderband #6 (2000) features a story titled "Identitätskrise: Erster Teil," written by Alan Grant and Marc Hillefeld, with art by Norm Breyfogle and Kevin Breyfogle, and additional work by Steve Mitchell, Adrienne Roy, and Björn Liebchen. The issue presents a dramatic narrative involving Batman and his allies, illustrated with the distinctive style of the Breyfogle brothers and rendered in a striking cover by Brian Bolland.
In "Identitätskrise: Erster Teil," Tim grapples with grief over his mother’s passing, believing he’s ready to step into the role of Robin—only for Batman to question his readiness. As Tim struggles with his identity, a mysterious force begins turning ordinary people into violent strangers, plunging Gotham into chaos.
In "Identitätskrise: Zweiter Teil - Ohne Angst vor den Folgen...", Vicki Vale finds herself in peril as she investigates a series of violent attacks that have turned ordinary citizens into killers. Batman races to save her, but time is running out—just as Tim, who's uncovered the truth behind the chaos, struggles to warn him.
In "Herr der Angst," Tim Drake faces a harrowing test of loyalty when he defies Batman’s orders to rescue Bruce and Vicki from the Scarecrow’s grasp. With fear and high stakes hanging in the air, Tim must confront his own limits—and the weight of what it means to step into a legacy—before the dust settles.
In "Die grosse böse Welt," Tim Drake, still uncertain about becoming Robin, seeks wisdom in Paris, training with the monks Rahul Lama and Shen Chi. When he encounters Ling, a girl entangled with a local gang, his instincts kick in—disguised as Robin, he steps in to help. What begins as a rescue mission quickly turns into a confrontation with a brutal gang, leading to a clash with Clyde Rawlins, who’s already in their crosshairs.
In "Der Schutzengel," Clyde and Robin narrowly escape a gang assault, seeking refuge as Sir Edmund grows increasingly displeased with their failure. With the shadows closing in and a mysterious hitman on the move, Lady Shiva appears to warn them—just as they’re forced to flee again, finding temporary safety in an abandoned farmhouse where Clyde begins to teach Robin a new way of fighting.
In "Der Todes-Engel," Robin and Clyde are joined by the formidable Lady Shiva at an old farmhouse, where they team up to track down Lynx and a gang loyal to Sir Edmund. With the stakes rising, they uncover the gang’s location and race to intercept them before they can seize a dangerous WWII-era weapon—only to find that part of it, a deadly biological payload, has already been taken. Now, the trio must pursue the weapon’s next move to Hong Kong, where it’s set to be loaded onto a plane.
In "Seltsame Gesellschaft," Robin, Lady Shiva, and Clyde go undercover in Hong Kong to stop a dangerous weapon from falling into the wrong hands. As they close in on the plane’s landing site and follow the weapon to Sir Edmund’s downtown headquarters, the trio prepares for a high-stakes infiltration—while Lady Shiva pushes Robin’s training to the limit.
