Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight #152
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freePart four of five in the "Grimm" arc, this 2002 installment from Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight opens with a striking image: a battered, unconscious Batman lying in the foreground while a stout, imperious woman in old-fashioned dress looms large behind him, clutching a masked young figure close. John Cassaday's cover composition uses scale and a cool smoky haze to suggest the Dark Knight has met his match in something decidedly strange and fairy-tale-sinister. With J. M. DeMatteis writing and Trevor Von Eeden on interior art with inks by José Luis García-López, this penultimate chapter promises the kind of psychological unease the series does so well.
