Batman Hors Série #13
"Chapitre un : Un diable dans Gotham" delivers a wild, cross-universe clash in Gotham, where Scarecrow's twisted plan takes flight atop the Statue of Liberty, unleashing his fear gas as Kingpin arrives by helicopter. With Batman and Daredevil racing in from the water, the battle unfolds between the Dark Knight and the Kingpin, and the blind vigilante and the mind-terrorist—Daredevil’s immunity to fear proving crucial. Written by Alan Grant and brought to life with bold, atmospheric art by Eduardo Barreto (pencils and inks) and colorist Matt Hollingsworth, the cover by Barreto captures the chaos in striking detail.
In "Chapitre un : Un diable dans Gotham," Daredevil and Batman clash in the shadows of Gotham, each tracking Catwoman as she prepares to swap cases with a pair of thugs—only to end up colliding in a tense, blind-side scuffle that sends her fleeing. Forced to set aside their rivalry, the two heroes reluctantly team up, but Catwoman’s ahead of them, slipping through their net to complete the exchange with Scarecrow, the true mastermind behind the scheme.
In "Chapitre deux : Tout feu tout flamme," Batman and Daredevil reunite at the Batcave, piecing together a dangerous puzzle that points to Scarecrow as the true mastermind behind a scheme involving the Kingpin’s files. As they track him through Gotham in the Batmobile, they race against time to stop Scarecrow from turning the Kingpin’s thugs into mind-controlled pawns.
In "Chapitre trois : Batman à Manhattan," Batman and Daredevil race to stop Scarecrow's escalating chaos across Manhattan, their paths crossing as they pursue the same shadowy threat. When their investigation leads them to the Kingpin, they’re handed a cryptic lead—only to be ambushed in a tense helicopter showdown that tests their trust and resolve.
In "Chapitre quatre : Règne de terreur," Scarecrow takes desperate control of the Statue of Liberty, poised to unleash his fear gas as the wind shifts. With Kingpin arriving by helicopter and Batman and Daredevil closing in by boat, the city hangs in the balance as two legends clash—one in shadow, one in silence—while the air itself becomes a weapon.
