Batman: Detective Comics #2
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis volume collects the opening chapters of the 'Gotham Nocturne' storyline from the Detective Comics series, following Batman as he confronts a new wave of supernatural threats haunting Gotham City. Written by Ram V with art by Rafael Albuquerque, the story deepens the Dark Knight's mythos with gothic horror elements.
In "Gotham Nocturne: Act I: Something in the Way Part I," Ram V and Stefano Raffaele deliver a moody, atmospheric entry into a deeper mystery beneath Gotham, where Solomon Grundy aids Catwoman’s escape from the Orghams’ subterranean lair. As Bruce Wayne’s uneasy encounters with Prince Orgham grow more personal, Talia shares a haunting tale of the Orghams’ ancient ties to Ra’s al Ghul, while Oracle’s investigation is cut short by the sudden arrival of a new, enigmatic group. Evan Cagle’s cover captures the tension with a stark, shadow-drenched image of Gotham’s hidden threats rising from the depths.
